SORARIN

In this series, the artist deploys a constellation of rings, fashioned from the same material, on her ivory handmade paper. These hollowed-out circles create a visual rhythm that combines lightness and density, materializing the emptiness and depth in the space of the work.

The title Sorarin, created especially for this work and composed of the two kanji, Sora and Rin, literally celestial rings in Japanese, places these circular forms in a dimension that is both terrestrial and aerial, where emptiness becomes matter and repetition, vibration.
